I am updating because an old friend that I've bugged about lj for about 3 years now finally got one and it's been a while. I'm not supposed to get on lj at work, and been missing it. I think I need a paid account again so I can at least post from my email.
xtopher42 and kungfumegadevil are playing games, kungfumegadevil brought his xbox over, so I assume they are having fun, between making things blow up and singing the theme to Mr Ed.
I've been working at Ev1 for a couple of weeks now, and all is well, officially finished training today. So Monday I go on the 3-11 shift with xtopher. Which sort of sucks, not the schedule I'd have preferred, but whatever, it's money and it's ok for school and such.
Oh, right! Today I had an appointment with Batty (www.azacdesigns.com) to have my measurements done and talk about what I want for my dress. Her work is awesome and I am so looking forward to the finished gown. It is going to kick ass. She'll be drafting my pattern and at my next appointment I'll give her some $$ and then she'll make my mock-up. I'm having a overbust victorian sweetheart corset and full ball gown skirt made in my gorgeous garnet dupioni silk made. For a very reasonable price, too. So, yay.
Um, other stuff, but I have a horrible headache. goonight.
