George Bush is an idiot. And the Americans are just as guilty of mental retardation to let an idiot run the country. Yes, I know they talk about less emphasis on academics in the land of freedom and justice and hope, but I certainly expect a minimum understanding of history. And these craps about terrorists' being freedom-hating assholes, did those Americans who put Bush into power actually understood why terrorists do the things they do other than out of a simple hatred for this ambigious concept of freedom. Yes, I understand that thousands died in 9/11 and the events that followed. Yes, I understand that terrorists attack civilian targets.
But for what? Just because they like to kill people? Have you ever considered the fact that just hating American is a very stupid reason for giving up their lives?
The truth is, Americans are the one that caused 9/11. Since the end of World War 2, American has been diplomatically, an asshole. From spoiling her little child, Israel, to helping fund and provide training for guerillas in some faraway communist/anti-american/ state, to defending other countries from the big bad Soviet Union, the just US of A has always managed to explain everything as protection of the interests of it and its bunch of groupies.
Case in Point: The Soviet-Afghanistan War. Middle East was really "friendly" to USA. Even now, relationships with Saudia Arabia, Jordan etc are strained at best. The cause, something I'll be mentioning a lot, is simple: anti-semitic sentiments. America is the protector of Israel and everyone hates Israel. So by relation, everyone hates America. Now naturally America doesn't really like the Middle East either, although not Afghanistan specifically. However there's something that America hated more than them and that was the big bad Red Bear. Anyway, a coup brought Hafizullah Amin to power in 1979, overthrowing the old pro-Soviet government in Afghanistan. (which ironically, was installed via a precious coup) The Soviet Union is afraid that Amin will turn pro-West and anti-Communist, so they sent a whole damn lot of stuff over to forcefully take the damn place.
