FUCKING SHIT!

I think my all time favorite essay that I will ever write for school is in the process right now. We could write a persuasive essay about anything we wanted. Anything. None of that stupid standard "Why we should be able to wear hats in school" or "Why homework should be illegal" shit. Anything is anything. So I chose to persuede everyone that censoring music is stupid. And I shall (although most people who aren't protective parents already think so). So far all I've written is [part of] the intro. And I'm bored so here's what I have so far:

For as long as I can remember, some of my favorite songs have had words or even phrases censored out on TV and radio. It's ludicrous that one must buy a CD to hear that one radio song uninterrupted by beeps or random patches of silence. Dispite the fact that its ridiculous to swear so many times in one song and have people still want to listen to it, some songs end up almost completely censored out on the radio. It's understandable that clean versions of albums are made, but if an artist records a song and gives radio a right to play it, the way the want it to be heard by the public is the way they wrote it. No one enjoys hearing their songs being butchered by those beeps and random patches of silence...

Not my best but I think the rest of the essay will be better. Tons of points to cover. Anyway, as I was thinking about the subject I was thinking about swears. What makes swears so bad? Who came up with that idea anyway? I gotta do some research on this or something. It would be an interesting thing to find out. It could have been someone important like a latin king or something but for some reason I'm imagining some loser laying in bed some night trying to fall asleep and thinking "What if I make up these stupid words that everyone will be scared of and offended by? It'll be the new thing...all the rage! And all the hardcore thugs will think they're so cool using them every other word..."
