OK! SO! GREG! UHG!
Erica came for the weekend. We had fun ... well, i had fun. i cant really speak for errca. We went to this house party. i know, youre all thinking, toooootally not my thing. well, the only reason i went was because Vornagar, greg's band was playing.
Jay was drunk off his ass. I loved it! so. greg. ok. before the show, i made him show erica a sweep, which is my favourite thing done on a guitar, and he knows it. he has known it since he showed me. (this has relevance later, as does this...) I asked him why he was wearing his hair back, and he told me because it got in his face when he played, and then i told he should put it down because it looks hardcore metal (and hot) when he wears it down. So, the band plays my all time favourite song, which is called the charge of the dark gods. and, of course, i sang (screamed?) along with every word. that song always makes me happy because the guys make sure they play it for me every show (knowing it my favourite) so, after the song, what does greg do? he takes down his hair. and looks at me while he does it. BASTARD. and then, they played the bloodtide, which just so happens to have a long sweep in it. so, greg does the sweep, as usual in the song. and then when the song is over, he just looks at me, puts the guitar right on his .... uhm ... pants, points its at me, looks at me, and does an extra sweep. WHY!? WHY DOES HE TORTURE ME SO?! UHG!!!!
so, i melted, right there.
But it was funny because after everyshow, i always talk to the guys, tell them nice show, and then i leave. So i didnt talk to carl at all before the show, which is normal. But when i shook his hand and said good show, HE GOT THE HUGEST SMILE ON HIS FACE! i loved it!
I asked greg if he needed help packing up. as their roadie, i was a pro with helping them. So he just had me carry his baby; his guitar. so me and errca went to his truck and i put it in the case, and he snuck up behind me, poked my side and said "boo!" scared the shit out of me. but also weirded me out. GREG DOESNT DO THAT SHIT. and then, when he left, he hugged me, and he told me that he would call me because we needed to hang out more. WHOA! what happened to the greg who was an asshole to me.
So, im still melting.

he was a cool guy. imma miss him plenty! we had some crazy times.
