i'm done one class of my five for lifeguarding certificate.(?)
they emailed us things to bring on our work email, which I didn't check until 3pm yesterday. And realized I had to buy goggles and writing materials. how lame. but i guess if i'm getting paid to do this and they pay for the course i can buy $8 goggles. It's pretty fun with a class full of 15 year olds...(not really) they are all swimmers so the 9 year age difference and regularly swimming makes you feel pretty good about swimming.
the only good thing about them is they have the newly evolved female bodies where they are all fat in their stomach. makes me feel a little better about my life. okay okay not all of them. but some have braces and i like that. the whole class is puns, all Dennis and i do is smile at each other, instead of saying "that's what she said".
my nickname is "jellyfish" for obvious reasons.
i think i'm going to join the Y somewhere close to work so i can swim laps. i love running...but sometimes i don't want to do it. So swimming will be a great alternative. But i cant wait until summer. or even spring. sometime when i can see the ground and not have my feet freezing.
