Missed it only by a few hours...
Sunday... I woke up and got dressed. Didn't eat much of a breakfast at the old folks'place. Then we were on the road again. We stopped at McDonald's for breakfast (excellent) and lunch (pretty good). We went to the L.L.Bean outlet store in Freeport, Maine. They have some many factory outlets there... it's insane. Anyway, we bought much needed boots and I got a new set of gloves. *more blahs* After lunch, I drove for a while. While I was driving, the van decided to be a dick. One of the exhaust valves broke open and the heat melted one of the vacuum hoses for the brakes. Translation: The van was really loud and didn't have power brakes anymore. That got a little scary because the van is really big and doesn't stop easy as it is. We fought through that one for a while and Rebecca drove after we stopped for gas. *blah blah blah* We arrived at home, and I'm now comfortably inside and caught up on my entries. YAY! It has been a boring weekend so far. I hope Monday is good, but we'll see. Love you guys, talk to you later.
