Quel horreur.

I like John McCrae and war vets. Unhealthily so. Maybe this is the reason Im so in lust with this week. Its a somber and reflective holiday, but you have to applaud me for making the best of it. Because why not, really. Plus I get a kick out of the unspoken law that every reporter must begin wearing a poppy at an appropriate time before Rememberance Day and act all caring and serious though Im sure they couldn't care. And they do the traffic report wearing their tasteful beige coat and poppy with windblown hair and its all very blah.

I met such an interesting old man today. At NINETY-FOUR he is still a working actor and hes absolutely awesome and cool beyond your wildest dreams. He once held a job at the Royal Alex and was called upon to fill in bit roles for sick actors, sort of like an understudy. Anyhow, he acted on stage with MAE WEST and LIZA MINELLI. I love him.

Like OMG. SOULDECISION is out with a new album. I just saw their new video ahaha. For those of you who do not remember SoulDecision allow me to refresh your memory.

OHGOD.

Rosa Parks is still alive and living in Detroit. Who knew?

I bought the most stunning New York socialite black-and-white tweedish (well sort of tweed, sort of not) blazer today. And it ties up at the waist with a black satin ribbon and AHH LOVE.
