staying in.
i will make cookies and
listen to talking heads
(the girl downstairs will
hit the walls with something
hard, letting me know it's
too loud) but most of all
i'll think about her;

i suppose it's not
the best thing
to do* right now, today,
(february tenth) but if
i must remember her death
on the twenty-fifth then
today i'll remember the
day she was born.
