(vicki i use 2 nikon speedlights, an sb25 and sb80dx. i usually fire them off camera with wireless triggers. these are both 1 light pics though. i think the external flash for digital rebels is the 420ex (old) 430ex (new)? you can use any thysistor flash, but you have to dial in the ISO and f/stop manually)
