Tell me what you saw...

So, I'm a little stumped. Roz is not helpful, and I'm not sure what to get her for her birthday. It is coming up kinda quickly. Maybe I'll drag her into the coolest store I know and just make her pick something. I don't know if that would work. If I'm stuck, I may do that, though.

Magus, if you're reading, I found out a bit about the people running things. It should be interesting. There are two of them in charge, and they have intriguing stories. We'll have to talk before Halloween. There's a few things you're going to have to know.

Hmm... this multiple identity thing gets tiring after a while. And I'm tired of the higher-ups at the Ministry. It's so backwards and corrupted that they can't efficiently deal with all the problems they have facing them. I mean, there's a lot I'd do at the Ministry to Improve it, and it will probably never get done. But it would be nice if they tried. I mean, if they did, maybe they could handle the ever-growing Knockturn Alley. It grows because sometimes, that's the only way to make money. The Ministry really has to start dealing with poverty in the muggle community. I know you need a semi-thriving criminal community to maintain balance, but it has been out of balance for years. It's too big at the moment, and it has too much influence on the government. That's dangerous. You think the underground can't learn how to take down the wards? You think they don't already know how? You think it's right that rich guys can buy off officials who look the other way? There are good Aurors who can't go after people they know are harming wizards and muggles because the Minister of Magic might fire them for doing so.

I don't know how it can be fixed. But I feel like it will be the job of the youth. You know, the ones who aren't yet tainted. The ones who are still all idealogical and stuff. Because if it isn't changed? There will be another Grindewald and another Voldemort. Perhaps the next Dark Lord is already in the making. Fear is a powerful motivator. Someone will remember that. Because things are still out of balance. And the Ministry as a whole is doing nothing.

Oh well. One day, we will all meet our makers. One day, the magical world will have to own up. Will it be ready? Or will it crumble into the mists of time? I wonder, but I'm not sure I care. In some ways, I think we'll deserve it if we do not survive.

But anyways. Back to work, for I get few breaks.

magical world, work, magus, roz
