I encourage everyone to try to make it to one of these choir concerts.
We are doing really great pieces, one of which that is 94 pages, The Peaceable Kingdom. It's going to be epic.
We're also doing a Gwenyth Walker piece, The Rose, The Briar, and the Bicycle, which is possibly the sweetest and wackiest thing I have ever sung.
The third piece is a Sirens Song, which, personally, creeps me the fuck out.
The Peaceable Kingdom will be the bulk of the concert since it's probably 20 minutes long, but it is so worth it, and it would be so awesome if anyone could come hear it.
One concert will be on Saturday, April 19th at Nashua High school and we will be singing with the Nashua Symphony Choir. I believe the only song we're singing is The Peaceable Kingdom during that one.
The second is Friday, April 25th in the Recital Hall at Keene State. This is the concert I encourage anyone to go to, which is why I'm announcing it early. I've been really amazed with the songs we're singing and proud of my own accomplishments in a college choir.
So hopefully people are able to share the experience.
I'm sure I'll bring it up again informally, but this is all the current information.
Thanks!
