My little smarty pants

I finally recorded Jason reading me his favorite book. I had to keep trying to get him to read it within 3 minutes..the longest my digital camera will film for clips. He got mixed up at some points because he was hurrying, but he usually drags his finger under each sentence and takes his time. Whenever he doesn't like how he read something, he says "red caboose always came last" really fast and says the sentence again. You'll hear it a few times in that clip. He is a perfectionist..don't know where he gets it from. heh. Oh, and in the beginning- he reads the names that the book is dedicated to, the copyright year and the publishing company (listen to how he says Random House incorporated..haha). He wanted to know what was written on that page when I first started reading it to him and he memorized that part of it too!

Sorry, I'm just so proud of him so I could blab about it for hours. Enough of that, here's the video.

He mumbles and hurries his words just like his Mommy, sometimes it sounds like he has a boston accent or he is speaking a foreign language of some sort, haha. I have the worst speaking skills to be an influence on the kid...I don't finish sentences a lot of times and think so fast that the words can't catch up so I am always hearing "what???". We have our own language, I understand everything he says perfectly and he understands me.

I need to record him more often to catch the funny things he says.. like "what's the big idea??", "give me a break", "Holey Moley", and "you're soo craaaazy"

I have quite a character on my hands.
