Yeah, a third season seems very unlikely. Which sucks, because it would be SO freaking cool.

It was never meant to fit into the timeline. It just diverts after T2. They might take a few concepts here and there (though I don't think they have yet), but they never had the intention of just filling in the blanks between T2 and T3.

I don't know, I got the impression that he meant what he said; if not, they could've at least dropped some sort of hint. Regardless, since they KNOW the dolls were being reprogrammed, and he has zero reason to if his aim was to protect the Dollhouse, they shouldn't have bought it like that. It's not even just assuming they already know everything - their knowledge of what he did and what he claimed to do blatantly contradicted each other. It makes no sense.

The Adelle scenes were interesting. I don't know how I feel about the revelations, but props to the actress (Moira! <3) for at least making it feel like they were the same character despite the huge shift in attitude. It was the same when she was drugged. Totally different, yet recognisable.
