Leave your conscience at the tone

When I was driving today in the car I was in it. I was zoned out and got lost into the "beautiful melancholy" of my psyche. I started thinking about those psychological questions. Well-just one particulary...if a tree falls in the middle of the woods and no one is around to here it, does it make a sound? I started to think about how logically it really should make a sound whether someone or something isn't around. Just because you don't here it fall doesn't mean there wasn't a sound to it. Anyway I thought about that all the way into town. I later asked my dad what his opinion was and we debated..but he said the point was to delve into a more deeper meaning. I guess the question isn't really just face value. It could correspond to other things. One simple question was meant for so much more. Ha, maybe everyone is meant for so much more than the face value they're given.

Last week I had the strangest dream
Where everything was exactly how it seemed
Where there was never any mystery of who shot John F. Kennedy
It was just a man with something to prove
Slightly bored and severely confused
He steadied his rifle with his target in the center
And became famous on that day in November

Don't wake me I plan on sleeping
Don't wake me I plan on sleeping in

Again last night I had that strange dream
Where everything was exactly how it seemed
Where concerns about the world getting warmer
The people thought they were just being rewarded
For treating others as they'd like to be treated
For obeying stop signs and curing diseases
For mailing letters with the address of the sender
Now we can swim any day in November

Don't wake me I plan on sleeping
Now we can swim any day in November
Don't wake me I plan on sleeping in
