how to ruin a vacation
so i'm in cabo san lucas, mexico
my family is walking home from dinner and we're on on a back road downtown
we start to hear this loud terrible screaming but we just figured it was some stupid drunk
we get to the street corner and standing across the road is a man and his wife
the husband has one hand grabbing the hair on the back of her head
his other hand is wrapped around her throat stangling her
she's screaming and screaming, stop stop stop
and he just keeps saying to her, you better stop this shit, you better stop
all this time her two little kids, a boy and a girl, prolly younger than 6
are standing there, watching this happen
the little girl is crying and screaming, daddy stop, daddy stop
so he lets go of the mom's throat and punches the girl across the face
then goes right back to strangling the mom
this whole time my family just keeps walking past, doing nothing to help
the people come out of the stores nearby and just stand and watch
no one helps or does anything, they just sit and watch it happen
what the hell is wrong with this world?
