(no subject)
It's been almost a year since i've posted anything here. Wow, it seems like my posts in Live Journal is an annual thing, haha. I should be posting more stuff in here, but alas time is just not on my side.
This year seems to be quite well for me. Seems like the stars have made way for better times, after the 7 year period of troubles I went through. Some say life changes every seven years, and I'm going through the 3rd phase of the 7 year cycle of my life now, at 28. Things do seem a bit different. I'm with a new job right now, which is quite well paying. I wouldn't say it's very exciting, since it's very corporate and deals with Swiss/German products, and my job requires me to design all the packaging and advertising stuff. At least now I've got product packaging experience on my portfolio.
My sitar classes are doing quite well too. I'll be learning my first raga soon, and I'm excited. I think I've found something in classical music, something that I might be happy doing next to graphic design. I've always wanted to develop another skill or talent, and right now the sitar just seems to be the thing I'm dying to master. I've decided I'll think about moving out of Malaysia after I've completed this, since my teacher is really good and I don't think I'll find another good one elsewhere.
I'm thinking of going travelling end of this year, to visit Piotr aka xaustraliax. I haven't seen him in ages and It would do me good to see him once again. I miss my vegan comrade.
