Before i go off, let me disclose this
I like rap
i absolutely love hip-hop and the stories it USED to tell
HOWEVER...the aftermath, negative influence, and stupidity is more and more evident daily...
I just heard a song on the radio (i dont know what it was, but it was dumb) the guy said
'i be out gutter thuggin' with my boys'
FIRST OFF
Why is it now becoming the trashier and cheaper you look the cooler it is....GUTTER THUGGING?! LET ME STRAP ON MY HOBO OUTFIT AND PIMP THE STREETS....so help me god if wearing newspapers and fingerless gloves become cool, ill kill everyone

LADIES....BEING A WHORE IS NOT COOL....put some forkin clothes on...because more men look at you doesnt mean your popularity is through the roof, it means your legs spread easier than melted butter

I dont care if you drive a '64 impala on 24's with whitewalls, ivory top and leather interior...your not from the streets...your mom and dad felt bad cuz you couldnt speak plain english and bought you a car instead of loving you....not my fault

Do not just listen to the songs about how big your house is and how big your rims are, and you came up from the streets by shooting everyone and robbing people and how cool it was, listen to the songs about the pregnant 13 year old who dumped their baby in the garbage because she didnt know what to do and thought the 40 year-old who raped her was in love with her...or the songs about how everyone in the neighborhood refers to a particular woman as a bitch in plain english cuz she sells her body and has no shame...or better yet how about we take it back to the comming-up part, listen to at least 3 songs pre-1994 where the beat is from one guys mouth or a drum machine/live band
Again, i love rap, i listen to it for reflection and appreciation, im interested in other peoples lives, and how other people were raised so as to reflect upon my own life...to make sure i didnt miss anything and if i did, see what they were all about. Im just sick of this sluts are cool and guys acting like a brick shit-house
