So... did anyone else watch Angel's "Last Hurrah". Or, as I like to call it, the final pathetic cop-out from a lame season on a show in which the creator long-ago lost interest. It's such a pity considering last season was one of the best ever.
It's not as though I was expecting something fantastic, since the whole season basically started off on the wrong foot, continued on the wrong foot, had one great episode (the puppets, of course, the only good thing about this series), then tried to cram about two seasons' worth of plot into three episodes.
But still, as something of a Buffy and Angel fan, I feel very cheapened and ripped-off by the cop-out ending. Of course we all knew Wesley was gonna die, and Lorne's shooting of Lindsey was a nice touch, but the rest was just excruciating to watch. If I was Angel, I'd have staked Harmony just for being a useless bitch.
Anyway, I've had my say, both Buffy and Angel are gone, one in an overblown, melodramatic way, the other in a lame "you guess what happens" cop-out way. No attempt at closure for any of the main characters, save the dead ones (and maybe Lorne).
Ripped.
