(no subject)
Prom (last saturday) was great. The senior class rocks the casbah, because they got to choose the theme. They chose: Bonfire.
We could wear anything, and we had a huge bonfire in the desolate woods outside our school, and a live band was there, playing everything from ska, to Sublime covers, to Beatles/Who/Simon and Garfunkle/Ramones covers...it was so fucking awesome.
Did I get smashed? Well, I drove home, but I had perhaps one punch drink...seriously, though. A guy named Jess brought homemade punch which was really Hawaiin Punch mixed with whiskey...99% whisky. God that was nasty. That's the only drink I had. Then I spit it up and had water. Good ol' water.
In the woods, I found a vinyl "Derek and the Dominos: LAYLA and other love songs". ... . ... .In the woods. I was like...woooaaaahh man. It was so fucking awesome/awesome.
So in the middle prom, we sat in this shack (we meaning me and all my friends; a group of about 15) we found back there, and had a jam session. Dude, it was major...about 5 guitars, 3 basses, 2 drummers (they played on wood) and the rest sang. My friends all like the same music, so it was fun. They started to smoke, (pot), so me, Jane, Derek, and Aundrea left. Me and Aundrea ended up making out in the woods to the music from the house, and Derek and Jane made out. Kind of a 70's key party, haha. All is understood. So then I got a squirrel stuck in my hair, and Aundrea screamed because while she had her hand in my hair, it bit her, hahahahaha. So then, Jane was looking at me for the longest time and called me "Lord of the Jimmy Pages", and then we walked back to the prom, and everyone was still there. I asked the band if I could play, cuz my band is me, Derek, and Aundrea. So I got on guitar, Aundrea on bass, and derek on drums, and played until Jane was tierd. Everyone was still there when we left, cheering me on, except for those people who despise me, like the "faux-punk" people. Whatever.
