HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!
My friends have the habit if surprising me/proving me wrong- and I couldn't be more happy about it. They threw me a really awesome SURPRISE Birthday Party last night, because we are all leaving town this weekend- and it was AWESOME. Looking back on it- they kind of gave it away, but luckily for them I was so wrapped up in my final project/stressed about Christmas in Bama that I didn't pay a lick of attention. It doesn't matter at all because- I had the best time last night!! They were very successful in getting the maojority of my favorite people in Auburn to this thing- I am so lucky! I'm happy to report that while the entire Illness on my birthday is repeating for the 4th year in a row, my 2nd annual Surprise Birthday Party is as well- just thrown by different friends. I am the luckiest girl in all of Auburn!!
They made me a sign- got Red Velvet Cheesecake (YUMMY) that said We Heart Lane on the top. Heck Yes they did!! They even got me presents- I slept with the warm fuzzy blanket that Lauren made me last night. :) Larkin got me a funny card and a Cinnamon Bun Candle, it's scary how well they are getting to know me. They have been sucessful in breaking down a handful of the walls I have put up-which isn't an easy feat. We all played Signs. Now, if you have never played this game- you are simply missing out! It is possibly one of the funniest things I have ever seen, and thanks to our College Life doing Work Crew at Sharp Top this Jan- we learned it. Miss Ashley is definately the slickest player anyone has ever seen, and Larkin is terrible; but laughs were had either way.
I felt like God has been right on my shoulder all week helping me walk through things, and mapping out steps towards my future. Oh! I got a new Journal last night from Dan- it's beautiful. The one from Brett finally was finished this week- which I guess is somesort of Passing of tourches, I guess. Whatever...I'm eating birthday cake for breakfast. It's ok if your jealous.
