When All The Bones Are Burried There Is Little Time To Go Outside And Play

Deep Space Update.

It’s a little Surge Dog! He’s a pure English Shepherd and now at 7 months old. So far he’s doing pretty good. Of course he pee’s like a sprinkler and leaves the occasional “William Shatner” (as the Esch puts it). He’ll soon grow out of that though. My apartment looks cleaner because of the dog though. Mainly because I have to put stuff away or Surge will chew it out of boredom. I’m really glad I have a pet now.

Ever since I got back into town, I’ve been busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. I’ve had event after event after event these past 3 weeks and it only keeps picking up. However, I’ve made it a point to throw in some Racquetball time. Sara’s fiancé Dan moved down here at the beginning of the semester. Since he’s just hanging out until he gets a job, he has plenty of time to play Racquetball. I’ve scheduled in every Wednesday after work is Racquetball day. I freaken suck, however, I am gaining more Racquetball XP. It will only be a mater of time before I’m a lvl 15 Master. (yeah, I’m a nerd.)

I was in charge of a play which my Lectures, Concerts, and Exhibitions committee put on. I had to drive the actors of the play around the town and shuttling them to get food. I got to hang out with them a lot throughout the day. They had to be the nicest folks I’ve met in a while. Some of the events leading up to the event were kind of stressful. However, after working with the actors, the crew, and after seeing the awesome performance and the good crowd, it was all worth the hard effort we put into it. I haven’t felt this much gratification from an event in a while. I miss them folks.

Tomorrow we have our first major concert. Nappy Roots comes and plays live here in the Whee. Everything seems to be going really smooth so far. Even though I’ll be busy the entire day, it is something I will definitely enjoy. First concert under my command, this should be interesting.

Super Bowl picks. Usually when it’s not the Bucs or the Rams in the Super Bowl, I usually go for the team that has the most FSU alumni. Here’s the Count: Seattle 4, Pittsburg 2. However, I’m deviating from the norm this super bowl. I had Rothlesburger and Parker on my fantasy team this year, and the Stealers Defense helped me win my league last year. So I’ve been rooting for the Stealers for most of the season. I’m choosing the Stealers to win.

Now I’m gonna crash on the couch and watch some stuff I Tivo’d. See you around Knuckleheads.

ROCK!
