(yeaaah, I GOT HERE \o/ >_>)

So, point one: this thing totally needs a sequel or two. Seriously. Leaving it like this is a crime against good fic, don't deprive us of things with excellent potential! ;)

Okay that stated, I usually have a lot of issues with genderbent fics but the fact that I totally and utterly loved this should probably tell you that you managed to avoid all of them, so score for you on that. Seriously, I loved that they're both totally IC - Castiel being utterly rude and matter-of-fact at the beginning before realizing it was.. well, very rude was priceless, and I really liked how you twisted the whole thing about having doubts about what she's doing - it totally makes sense that she'd be a lawyer. (And oh dear, now I'm imagining a firm made of all the other angels on the show and I think I'll stick with Ally McBeal...) (And I love that she has Schiele paintings up the wall goodtaste) And ngh I love that Dean(na) totally still has the martyr streak, that she strips to give Sam extra money (she so would) and that she goes from confident to self-loathing so deliciously. And that she's still totally Dean in the way you wrote her POV - I mean, this probably sounds convoluted but this sounded exactly like a regular Dean POV would have sounded if he had been male (not counting the necessary adjustments) which is one of the reasons I was totally into it. And I'll have to say again that I died at the re-doing Apocalypse Now bit - excellent taste there, though I don't envy her the outfit xDD also I just really loved how they still had the instant connection and how they interacted throughout the entire thing - they really were gloriously IC. Also: let's not go over the stripping because NNNGHHH, but sexing happening on THAT SONG? Hi, uh, I definitely was in my bunk while I was reading it the first time XDD I mean, it was seriously scorching. *applauds* and the final exchange was just all kinds of lovely - I loved Castiel pointing out the obvious and Deanna doing the self-deprecating act, which was totally plausible at this point. (Oh, random: I kind of liked that Zachiariah was Dean's boss and not Cas's for once.) And that in the end they were mirroring the Schiele girls, nn. That's quite some lovely sight to imagine indeed. Aaand seriously, this calls for the sequel - the ending works in itself actually, but I could totally do with a lot more of it. In short: I loved it and more would be very much appreciated and you totally should pat yourself for having made me totally get into genderbent fic ;) ;)
