Title: Gravity-Defying House (Chapter 4/6)
Rating: I don't know... teen?
Pairing/characters: Dean/Cas, Sam, Bobby, Gabriel, a surprise character, an OC that I absolutely needed for plot and, you know, a baby. Mentions of Balthazar, Joshua, Jimmy and others.
Spoilers: Blanket for all aired eps.
Warnings/Kinks (aren't they the same?): MPREG!, established relationship, Gabriel is back from the dead, awesome!Sam, there WILL be some early stages of labour, but then it fades-to-black, mentions of sexual situations, there's some gender-bending at first, schmoop (no, really), angst (no, really), crack/humour, the baby isn't welcomed at first and notions of ending the pregnancy are entertained. ANGELS ARE DICKS! Like, really. Even Cas is going to be a complete SOB at first. Happy ending.
A/N: Author notes and list of people to blame are on the first post. This chapter was beta-ed by
greenelysium.

Chapter 3 Sam Winchester is a hunter. And as a hunter, he has to be stealthy. As stealthy as a ninja. In fact, Sam is willing to bet hunters have to be even stealthier than ninjas, because they have to hide from creatures with supernatural senses.
Sam Winchester is stealthier than a ninja.
The creature he's currently trying to evade is the angel that knocked up his brother. The angel that doesn't do things by halves and, once he felt his baby boy kick for the first time, went from poster-child for deadbeat dads to Father of the Year Award recipient.
Cas is sitting perfectly still on the couch, only moving his eyebrows every once in a while at the TV (which, for what Sam can hear, is showing some sort of reality show). Dean is sleeping soundly on the couch, his head on Cas' lap, who has a hand on Dean's belly.
Sam is hiding behind a pile of books aiming his brand new cellphone at them. The cellphone was a Christmas present for himself. If he's doing all the hustling alone now, he has all the right to give himself stuff, like cellphones with high-end cameras. Cameras perfect to snap embarrassing photos that he can use against Dean the next time he calls him Samantha or princess or girl or anything else that pregnant people shouldn't have the nerve to call a guy. Like the photo he's trying to take right now.
Of course, most of the creatures he usually hunts don't have angel-mojo and Cas suddenly snaps his head in Sam's direction and glares at him.
"I…" Sam stands up slowly and waves his cellphone in the air, frowning at it. "I'm just looking for signal."
Cas continues to glare, his hand on Dean's belly twitching slightly.
"I'll just…" Sam gestures towards the kitchen. "Right."
He flees.

Some weeks later Sam is walking past the guestroom (the same one Dean claimed for himself and the angel-who-unlike-Sam-doesn't-need-to-sleep), when he hears Dean moaning. Without thinking he barges into the room.
Only to see his naked brother on all fours on the bed, with Cas just as naked kneeling behind him.
Sam doesn't squeak (he doesn't), Dean does squeak and Cas looks at Sam like a deer caught in the headlights before disappearing completely.
Judging from the clatter coming from the kitchen, that's where he reappears.
"Cas!" Bobby's yells from downstairs. "What the hell are you doing in my kitchen naked?"
Dean groans and rolls to his back, hiding his face with his hands. Sam stares at him.
"Uh, Sammy?" Dean peaks at him through his fingers. "That's a bit creepy."
Sam shakes himself.
"Dude, you're huge!" Well, technically he isn't. With Dean being around six months along, Sam had expected his brother to be much bigger right now. Dean mostly looks like he's been drinking more beer and exercising less. Still, it's the first time Sam is having a real look at his belly.
Dean gives him a leery grin.
"Aw, thanks Sammy. But you knew that all along."
"What?" It takes Sam a moment to sink in what Dean's referring to. "What? No, you moron! I mean…" He points towards Dean's midsection and then does some wide gesture around his own. "That."
Dean pulls the blankets up, finally covering his bits.
"Yeah, he's growing." He grins at Sam. "See? You're really gonna be an uncle."
"Yeah! I'm gonna be uncle Sam!" Sam's smiles falters when he sees the corners of Dean's mouth start to twitch. "Dude, don't."
"What? I was going to say you only need to grow a goatee, since you're already rocking the muttonchops."

Gabriel continues to bring gifts for the baby, which is great, because otherwise they couldn't have afforded things like a brand new crib, a changing table (Bobby was surprised such things even existed), clothes, toys, diapers and everything else. But like everything Gabriel does, he tends to overreact.
"More stuff?"
Gabriel stares at them, holding a stuffed dog almost his size. He frowns.
"Well, that actually offended me."
"I'm sorry." Sam glares at Dean and Bobby and picks the stuffed toy, before handing it to Cas. Cas looks at it like he's not sure what it's supposed to be and drops it in the increasing growing pile of baby things in the guestroom. "They didn't mean to offend you, but we're running out of space."
"Why didn't you say anything before?" Gabriel snaps his fingers and a business card appears, which he hands to Sam. The card reads 'Interior Design'. He walks to the farthest wall of the guestroom and starts pushing. The wall recedes as Gabriel pushes, the floor expanding with it. Gabriel stops after ten feet and turns to Sam. "You're sleeping in the panic room, aren't you?"
Sam blinks and nods.
"Right," Gabriel says and pushes the wall another ten feet. He then goes to the adjoining wall and taps on it, making a new window appear. With a twitch of his hand he starts to pull a new wall right in the middle of the new twenty feet he added to the guestroom, until it closes against the other wall, locking Gabriel inside.
They all gape at each other and almost jump of their skins when Gabriel walks back inside the guestroom coming from the hallway.
"I'm not finished yet." He taps the wall again and another new window appears. With a flick of his hand the baby gifts get pushed against the new wall and with a twitch he starts to pull a new wall where the old one used to be. "This is going to be the nursery and that's going to be your room, Sam. Don't worry, I'll bring a bed and other things later."
Once the new wall closes they all run outside into the hallway (which now is twenty feet longer) just in time to see a door appear next to a new one and Gabriel walking out of it.
"Do you want the walls painted blue?"
Dean shakes his head, still gaping at him.
"No. That's…" He swallows, looking stunned. "That was actually pretty decent of you."
Sam nods and Cas gives Gabriel a small smile. Bobby, on the other hand, groans.
"You're doing it, aren't ya? You're moving in for good. There's gonna be a kid running around and when you're out hunting, I'm probably on babysitter duty." Bobby's shoulders slump. "I was planning on an early retirement in a coupla years…"

"Gabriel is a douche bag," Dean says, tilting the instructions manual in his hands and frowning at it.
"Don't say that. Look at all he's done for the baby." Sam sighs and drops the wrench he's holding, giving up.
"Yeah, sure, but come on: he build two extra rooms by wriggling his fingers and made enough baby stuff out of thin air to fill an orphanage. I'm sure he could have made furniture that didn't need to be assembled."
Sam looks at the bottomless crib around him, wondering if he'll ever manage to free himself from it, and has to agree with Dean. He raises his eyebrows when he sees Dean flinch.
"You okay there?" he asks him.
"Yeah, just got kicked in the ribs. Hey, what's going on there?" Dean asks, looking out of the window.
After struggling with the crib more than he cares to admit, Sam finally manages to reach the window and see what Dean's talking about.
Outside, Bobby is shaking his head, holding it in his hands. Cas is staring in their direction, looking like he doesn't know what to do with himself.
They get outside as quickly as Dean can.
Sam opens his mouth to ask Bobby and Cas what's going on, but closes it again when he sees Bobby's house from outside. He's pretty sure several laws of physics are being broken.
The new wing Gabriel added to the house bulges from the wall of the second story like a twenty feet long arm suspended in the air.
"Is… Is that even possible?" he asks.
"What do ya think, you idjit? It's there, innit?"
"Allow me to try something." Cas picks an acorn from the still frozen ground and throws it in front of the new wing. A full grown oak appears with a 'flomp!' "This should hide it." It doesn't. "Or not." His shoulders slump.
By now Dean is doubled over, laughing. Bobby glares at him.
"Don't worry, Bobby," Dean tells him, still laughing. "The next time Gabriel drops by we'll ask him to add some pillars or something, and you'll have a new porch. It's a two for one deal, not bad."
Bobby just mutters something and walks away, shaking his head. Sam sighs.
"Oh, come on, Sammy. He complains, but can you imagine when the kid calls him 'granddad' for the first time?" Dean grins.
Sam can't help but grin back.

A few weeks later, around the end of March, when they all wake up, Cas is nowhere to be found. At first no one thinks much of it, since sometimes he has to go to heaven to check how things are going, but the days go by without him returning. They could ask Gabriel if he knew anything, but Gabriel went M.I.A. around the same time.
It's five days since anyone's seen the angels and Dean has spent the entire day without talking to anyone. Around eight pm he gets up, wincing.
"Everything all right, son?" Bobby asks him.
"I'm going to turn in early tonight," Dean says, sounding weary. "My back is killing me."
