The Ark is, despite a rather alarming lack of security, still free of Insecticon drone infestation to the best of my knowledge. And my knowledge is rather good.
It's difficult to say which is more discomfiting, really. The one is a more primeval response; the other infinitely more disturbing, but requires more thought to realize that. Suffice to say I have not forgotten the Vok, nor what they can do. I wonder if this is how Red Alert feels all the time, waiting for a trusted comrade to turn traitor, voluntarily or not. I haven't stopped going over the Ark top to bottom; I'm not sure at this point I can.
I am incredibly ashamed of myself for being unable to re-board the Nemesis. I should at least be able to set foot in the place. This is two locales so far that are barred to me through my own weakness, and I am disgusted at it.
