Beginning of a new life!
Well, it all worked out, as it always does! My last day at Winzinger is Saturday, and I start full-time at the daycare on Monday. I also wanted to prove how dedicated I was, so I kind of started at the daycare yesterday. Since I get done at Winzinger at 3, and the daycare closes at 6, I worked at the daycare from 4 to 6. I'll do that until Friday. The days might be long, but it's worth it. I get to know the kiddies and the routine. The kids seem to like me so far (maybe it was because of my new Play-Doh perfume), and I pretty much remember all their names. The little kiddies like the sandbox, and the older kiddies like the big playground. It's like being in a classroom, but it's more fun because though there's structure, the day mostly involves playing. Sure I gotta change diapers, but so what? I've done it before and it doesn't bother me. I can't wait until Monday when I start there full-time.
Unfortunately, I'm sick right now. I have a cold and I'm really out of it because of all the NyQuil and Advil I'm taking. I don't want to get the kids sick and I feel like crap, so part of me thinks it's not a good idea to go to the daycare today. I'll go though because that's the kind of person I am. I don't want them to think I'm irresponsible. Oooof, I just want to fall asleep.
