Weekend Happenings

So, I had a fun fun weekend. Mommy and my grandparents came into town for graduation Friday, and then we all spent Saturday together. We went out to the yacht club where we used to keep ours before my parents sold it when they moved. I remember spending many summers there, so it was nice to go back and see the lake, the club, and everything out there. I miss that boat so much. It was a 60 foot Bayliner; 60 foot of beautiful fiberglass and chrome and white leather, with two bedrooms and a full bath, kitchen, dining room, and living room area. It also had a sun deck on the back, and it was just so pretty and powerful. I haven't been near the yacht club in 3 years or more. We had lunch at the Flying Bridge, the restaurant on the property, and stopped at the little ice cream place we always went to when we were at the club. It's in the country pretty much, and it is such a great place. I miss it. I'd forgotten what a big obsession I used to have with beautiful boats.

Last night- huge migraine. I ended up passing out, and my Mom woke me up around 9:00 to tell me they were heading back to the hotel for the night. They left this morning to go back home.

You know, it's a funny thing... graduation doesn't change a thing. In an hour, I'll be at work, doing the same thing I did before I had my degree.

I'm looking forward to a change in Chicago soon... new people, new places, new experiences...

Just.

Have a great day, everyone. Ciao.
