Prom Scheom

Okay, so prom is in a week's time and I haven't found a prom dress yet.
Was intending to wear "something I already have", but what's prom with a new outfit?
(Or any event/day, on that thought ;))

Anyway, am having a Bustier fetish now! :) Found myself having the hots for Bustier dresses, ie

Rebecca

OMG, isn't she gorgeous? Pictures credit to missypixie

However, I'm concerned over the material and would love to own Rebecca in Satin.
Am highly suspicious material above the cotton/ polyester as 1) it's only retailing for $28 (!)/
2) it's free size with a smocked back (which I'm not really fond of:(  )

Nevertheless adore the gorgeous tulip hem (!), pleated bustier and the sexy cut; pair with chunky accessories and we're ready to go!  :)

The other alternative would be

Vintage Strapless Lace Dress
USD $24.80

"This vintage-inspired dress possesses an elegance all its own with its romantic lacey outer layer and gathered side detail. Along with a flirty short length and strapless design, prepare for a look that will collect compliments all night long!" source

I love the combination of black lace set on baby pink lining! :)
However the catch is that it looks 90% similar to something I already have...

Laced Dress by Penelope for Mango Fall 2007

Snagged this at an incredible price (of my size!), Penelope would be so proud! :)
Was intending to wear this before my unnatural attraction for bustier dress kicked in...

SO HOW NOW BROWN COW?

On a totally unrelated note, Wetseal is turning me into a very horrible girl with their
wide range of fabulous backpacks!
Now I want this!

Sell me pretty please?

* UPDATED: MORE PROM MADNESS :)

Isn't this simply gorgeous?! :) the Frou Frou skirt is too adorable. But there's one teeny weensy problem though...

WHY MUST IN BE IN GREEN?!

It totally looks like my school pinafore, save for the fact my pinafore has thicker straps,
and is not made of luxurious satin with a puffy skirt :(( but still... BRING BACK BLACK!

This one's really pretty though, LOVE THY HEMS!

But it first chanced upon me as a sleep dress, which is probably not the very thought I want impress upon others :)
