3 - I love the colors on this! The circle
2 has neat coloring and I love how it focuses on the space of the background.
#2 I really love how the image is blended with the stock photography. The colors are really eye-catching.
01 I liked the cropping of the image and the vivid colours.
02: Icon is very creative. Good work with textures.
#o3 - because it's so much more eye-catching compared to the others & I like the way they used the text :)
Critics:
o1. the circle looks over-sharpened and jagged.
o2. plain compared to the others.
01: Icon is too oversharpened. And size of the circle is too big for this icon.
03: Not bad. Intresting work with colors and textures, but icon seems half-done, and this dotted brush bad placed.
02: The lightning texture is really overpowering to the image and doesn't really enhance the image in any way. The desaturation doesn't really work for this image either.
03: The yellowy background makes the girl look sallow and I'm not really keen on the oval texture/technique. It detracts from the pretty girl and the image overall.
#1 The smaller image looks great, but the coloring of the bigger image is too simple and the cropping is awkward.
#3 The coloring is not very interesting. The texture doesn't match the image.
1, the tiny text placement is rather distracting, and the red blob is cut out from the colored part, which is really too rough.
3 - I don't like that the text brush is placed on her hair and face.
1 - It's a good icon, although I don't think the little text on the bottom fits
2 - Why is there thunder? It seems like a more peaceful picture than a bitter or sad one which is why I dislike it

03 as it is better cropped and the text placement is better then on the rest, yet the coloring feels a bit too much.
#1 The cropping is perfect and I also love the soft coloring.
02 I liked the little desaturated box effect and the cropping is great too. It looks almost other-worldly.
03: Beautiful coloring, and text really fits the icon.

o1. it looks like they haven't done anything to improve the colouring or quality of the image.
o2. her face looks really softened, colouring nothing special.
01: Not very fortunate cropping because of how left eye was cropped.
02: B&w frame is distracting, it tooks all attention from the scene and model.
01: Great cropping but the icon seems a bit bland, the text kind of lacking in some undefinable way. Not quite sure what it's supposed to be 'saying'.
03: The yellowish cast to the image and the light-on-light text detracts from the excellent cropping and the theme of the icon.

02, the choice of decor was weird since it's too light for a desaturated rectangle to work. the placement of this rectangle is surprising as well.
1 - the whole icon seems rather dull and lifeless but its an okay icon
2 - It erks me the way the black and white box was placed. I think it would have made more sense to go over the bag but; yeah, it's not going well for me.

3 - I like the feel of the b&w with the light orange mixed in with it. Very pretty and I like the placement of the image.
01, although not too original, it's well done. The composition and crop really suit the icon.
#3 Nice concept and textures.
02 The colours are gorgeous and the text complements the image nicely.
01: Good work with textures. And this sheet of paper is really good as compositional centre.
#o1 - the icon is really unique, I love the paper page thingy in the middle.
Critics:
o2. the font is really distracting.
o3. eek. scratchy texture overload!
02: Text is too big and distracting.
03: Too many textures, they are overpowering.
O1: the texture/brush in the middle there is distracting and doesn't really fit the image - it was more of a 'whaaaa?' factor for me than anything else.
03: this would have been my second choice for winner in this category but the second one just had that little bit more to it. I did find the...atomic thing a bit...off-putting though.
#1 The icon is too dark and the coloring doesn't compliment the original image.
#2 Lovely coloring, but the black border doesn't match the icon.
02 has too much orange in her hair, it's distracting. Text looks a bit oversharpened.
03 is too messy in my opinion. the composition is neat but the decorations feel too much.
1 - The notebook paper doesn't fit and the bottom half of the whole body seems to disappear
2 - I like the icon but I don't understand the text (im slow...) and it seems to stick out oddly.
