Flavorwire: 10 literary authors who illustrated their own work

Sep 27, 2012 10:58

Flavorwire has assembled a fun collection of artwork created by authors for their books.  The artists/writers featured include J. R. R. Tolkien, Kurt Vonnegut, William Blake, Evelyn Waugh, and Jack Kerouac.  It's a lot of fun to look around, but I can't shake the feeling that they missed somebody.  I want to say Neil Gaiman, but I can't remember of any of his books that he illustrated himself.  I can't think who it might be, so I'll look to you guys for suggestions.

What literary author who illustrated his/her own work was forgotten on Flavorwire's list?
