I tend to shy away from books aimed at the roles of Christian women, because all too many of them make me feel like a second-class citizen. It sounds like this would be a breathe of fresh air, though. Thanks for your review!
I think any aspect of feminism, particularly within religion (which was, as you know, for centuries, a very effective way of controlling women), is always a good thing :D
I may pick this up. It sounds thought provoking and like it promotes a real reading of the Bible. (Churches that promote the submissive image rub me the wrong way.)
