Locked To Minerva McGonagall and Rolanda Hooch.

Rolanda (and I am also locking this to Minerva)I went to see the portrait of Melissa Feldwin-Barr this evening. Very interesting and not a little disturbing.
First, I'm not sure how well the portrait has ever worked. I did note occaisional sounds. Ivy rustling, wind blowing. But it's possible that it's only ever worked intermittantly.

As for the witch herself she isn't moving. Before you say something to that, Rolanda, let me continue. She watches the sky. She will respond to being called but only marginally. She doesn't turn away when she's called and she won't respond to a request to talk. Nor will she say what is wrong. She might turn slightly but she never stops staring upward. Facing roughly north.

The ivy growing up her leg might simply be because she's been standing there so long. It's amusing to think that there might be a correlation between the ivy on her leg and the ivy that I saw Miss Lovegood struggling with the other day, but I sincerely doubt it. Sometimes ivy is just ivy.
