Found some cool stuff behind a pawn shop a couple of weeks ago.  I plan on fixing them up over my Christmas break.  No work all week!  I'll be having a mini-Christmas with my parents and Grandma on Wednesday.  Then Thursday we're going to Brother's for another mini-Christmas.  I don't know if I'm going to see my sister and Brother-in-Law at all.

I know, it's so cool! I'm going to pop off the side-light things, clean up the mirror part, and maybe paint the white black. I paint everything black though, so I might wait and see. I think it'd be cool to just use as a mirror/jewelry holder kind of thing.

I do kinda like the white, because it's got the whole french country villa/vintage thingy going. I don't know much about refinishing wood, but it'd look really cool if you did a layer of red underneath and then did a layer of rubbed black on the top so that the red peeked through on the edges. But I agree the side light things need to go.

Yeah, there's only one light thing and I doubt it works anyway.

The rubbing/layers thing sounds cool. I may browse online for ideas. :)

Haha, thanks! I actually thought so too while taking it. I might do some more and actually think about the reflections and stuff. ;)

I know right, you never know what'll be put out for the trash. Some stuff definitely gets thrown away for a reason though. I often almost grab something but get a better look (eew!) and think again.

Also, that icon always cracks me up. Michael's so giddy and borderline creepy in it. :)
