Just some fun pictures. My brain needed a break after working all day and then working on my portfolio/applications all evening. :P
Scout! Taken on Thanksgiving day. Dad was grilling steaks and she was snapping at loitering flies. I think she has her eye on one right here.
It's crappy, but do you have any idea how long I've tried to get a picture of Mitch with his cheeks all stuffed? It's so funny when he does it. I'll watch him put a ridiculous amount of seeds in his mouth one after another and his cheeks get bigger and bigger and bigger. Then he takes it all from his nice little food bowl and puts it in little hiding places around the cage. Like a hamster or something. Anyway, it's pretty much impossible to document since he either moves away when I try to photograph him, or he spits it all out when I pick him up. This is the best I've done. You can see he's already started with the spitting the stash out thing. But lookatthe CHEEKS!
My grandma gave us an adorable little Christmas tree for our apartment. It already had lights and a few ornametns and whatnot. (could use some more.) I already have some presents under it. I kicked myself for not photographing my roommate's present before wrapping it. She's a bit of a Britophile and loves to drink tea. So I found her a cute little green teapot at one antique store and a set of green and white cups/saucers at another. Both pretty cheap. I'm proud. And yes....
.....Castiel is our angel on the top. So the little plastic star that came with the tree was impossible to get on it. It wouldn't stay straight or kept falling off. I swear it was a lot easier photoshopping wings on Cas and cutting him out with an exacto knife and attaching him than finding a way to save the dinky little star. *nods*
