#241 an itinerant, sozzled, emasculating, nugatorical, gormandizing, leveret hullabaloo-ing
Tonight, just about 25 minutes ago (according to Mum), I turned 24. Hooray!
So far it's been a pretty good day. I had an intensive CPR course this morning at the Ministry of Health and had an exam at the end of it. I scored 97% (MCQ and practical, screwed up my MCQ actually heh) and now I am qualified to do CPR It seems moo ha ha ha. So today I told my family if they're planning to do any choking etc. better make sure I'm around XD Giving the 'kiss of life' to a dummy was um, interesting. It was supposed to be an all-day session including lunch but I skipped lunch so I finished early. I got to skive off classes this afternoon because Richard had already arranged my classes to be covered since I wasn't expected to show up for work today anyway so went home, and had a long nap. I enjoyed it the way anyone would enjoy a Monday afternoon nap :D Mum cooked a special dinner tonight and we had cake. :D
Um, also, my Mum's birthday present to me: an albino rabbit. Needless to say, it is cute. I've named him Flipper the Priest (Father Ted reference, never mind X3) though I secretly call him Gonzo when no one's around.
Friends and family have been well-wishing me by text and Facebook, it feels super nice. I look forward to replying to all of them tomorrow.
Speaking of text, I had an odd text message from an unknown number today. That person wished me a happy birthday and made a reference to one of my Facebook statuses. I thanked that person for the well-wish and said that I must have forgotten to add the number so asked that person very nicely for his/her name. That person's reply, in verbatim: "Muahaha, I am tempted to keep you in suspense >:E gives me power ne? After all, he did say a secret that no one knows but you is the most powerful secret that can ever be ;)"
OK I admit, I was annoyed. I didn't reply. I had no idea who this 'he' this person is referring to, and I don't really like this sort of childishness. The only clues I have is that this person is from Brunei (because of the local area code) and is someone from Facebook because of that status reference. Meh. I'll find out when I find out. I'm still not curious enough to actually want to look for this person so whatevs. Anyway...
Tomorrow I'm bringing a basket of apples to work because the birthday person usually bring some food/snackage for the others in the staff-room, at least this is what I'm told anyway. And mmmm, apples. :D
