I cut my hair! This picture taken a few hours ago. My t-shirt was trying to eat my meal.
I bought a new laptop! It's a Toshiba
Satellite C640 and it's was very reasonably priced (just under $600, and I wanted at least a 14" LED) because it's a rather old model and very basic. My old NEC Versa L2100 has a long time been unreliable, but then again I've had it since 2005 and it went to Australia with me and back. And during university I shared it with my best friend so it was really overworked. In any case, I'm happy with my purchase. (I am also glad to have a functioning '?' and '/' key again, after two years XD)
Also I am glad that my external HD is working again! It's got my everything: music, videos, toku, pictures... It got a virus when I plugged it into my Mum's laptop and all the folders went missing so you can imagine how devastated I was, I almost cried. All the data was still there, I just had no way to access them. Today I went to a computer shop and this guy repaired it for me and I asked how much for the service and he told me it's okay, gratis. Yay! I like to think that the red Christmas hat that I wore charmed him.
In the mailbox today my first Xmas card arrived! It was from Simon, awww. I had a really fuzzy feeling when I read it.
I hope the replies that I made to the comments in the previous entry went through. I have very little experience with how screened comments work. :P
Today I am feeling much better. I've had a really bad cough for the past two weeks but today it seems to have subsided. I did have a migraine yesterday, and wow, I've never felt worse. I wanted to claw my left eyeball out, there was so much pressure there. And the nausea, ugh.
I'm waiting for iTunes to finish adding my music folder. It's taking ages, but then again, there's like 92GB of music to add. Damn, I just realized I have to create playlists again. I need to check my old iTunes and see if I can export them.
My rats have a spiffy new cage. It's more roomy than the old one, and it has lookoput posts and such. I read the manual and it turns out I can buy extensions and accessories and build like a huge maze-like twisty-turny multi-level castle thing. It's like Lego for me that my rats can enjoy. Oh, they have only discovered the wheel-ball thing the other night (they approached it gingerly initially), promptly waking me up with all the racket they were making. Hell cute though, so all was forgiven.
