A few hours ago I saw this HUGE gecko (it was so big and it had stripes, fucking hell o__O) crawl into my wardrobe and I FREAKED. I immediately ran downstairs and implored my brother Adli to get rid of it and then I burst into tears, I didn't care. I was so so scared. Adli then went upstairs to do the deed, and Daniel, bless him, switched on his laptop and found a wikipedia page on how to get rid of geckos which made me laugh, and it was hard to laugh because I was busy crying and I had goosebumps too. This fear of lizards is awful. I told my mum I'm moving to Canada as soon as I can where it's cold and lizard encounters would be far less than in this hot, humid country.
Cockroaches, spiders, and most insects I can deal with. But not lizards, HELL NO.
Anyway, I've got the shakes really bad and it's hard to type. I'll write again tomorrow.
Oh yes, before I forget, I successfully made a clear vegetarian soup, consisting of burdock, white radish (and its leaves), carrots and mushrooms, stewed for 2 hours over a low flame. It's mainly for Mum, but everyone's had some, which made me quite happy.
