#043 Thou shalt be pursued into the mountains by sex-mad baboons, O thou denizen of the underworld!

• Today:
• Woke up at 5.40am, hungry because I skipped dinner the night before.
• Cooked up some instant noodles because I had nothing else :P
• Read Dracula while having noodles
• Took a shower; got dressed
• Continued with Dracula; fell asleep
• 11.30am: woken up by a text from Naoko asking what time I was coming over for our chess game; told her I'd drop by after I finish shopping
• Went to Woolies; bought 2L milk, bread, chips, fags for Tacchan
• On way home, Big Willie told me I had a package! It was from Ireland, from Terry <3
• 1pm: Naoko's flat
• Got called at 5.15pm from work -- I forgot I supposed to cover for someone's 5-7 shift. Not happy

Well, that's my day. I just had my dinner, some chips and fish fingers I chucked in the oven.

Highlights: 

•  played 2 chess games, won twice! 8D
• at work, I looked up David Foster Wallace and found something by him! A short story in an anthology, no novels available. It's the only one I found after checking 7 libraries too. Anyway, CONCLUSION: I do not write like him! :D (Here's the story I read -- I found it online.)
• the package from Terry contained a letter, a keychain, a Death Note necklace, stickers and a couple of postcards, two of which he made himself! :D

Anyway, that's all for now, I'm going to watch a couple of episodes of The Simpsons and read a bit more of Dracula before I go to bed. This will be third time I'm reading this excellent novel, and it gets better every time. Nowadays I find myself wanting to reread books I've read before. I suppose the familiarity is comforting. Hmmm. Tomorrow I have a psych appointment with Dr Tran , I hope it'll be my last. I'm tired of these visits, I don't think we've accomplished anything these past months...
