live action somewhere under a bridge
After hearing Suneohair with "Sakasama Bridge" I just remembered something I had tried to forget: Arakawa under the Bridge.
This is not a post about how awkful the anime was. No. I really enjoyed the anime. I watched it every week I guess it was Wednesday. It was so much fun.
It's a crazy story about a "normal" guy who comes under a bridge because of a girl where he meet some crazy people . They wear costumes and/or masks and believe they are not human like they are from Venus or made of metall and so on. Slowly you see that the oh so normal guy is some sort of crazy, too. And so are all other "normal" people like his secretary and so on. They are all crazy.
What's funny about this? I dunno. There are many people who think this is just something the world doesn't need. There is a small line between genius and insanity.
... Later I heard about a Live Action. My first reaction was:"Yeah what ever... Why don't you plan a 3rd season or something. Maybe I'll watch this .... "
Some time later I saw this rumour about the anouncement for Summer 2011 Dramas:

Date: From 9.00 p.m., Saturdays, July 2011
Station: NTV
Cast: Hayashi Kento, Kiritani Mirei, Yamada Takayuki, Shirota Yu, Abe Natsumi, Oguri Shun
... Okay, so in July .... but wait.... Oguri Shun ....?!
I like Arakawa and I like love him but both together. And he's not one of the first names so that means he's probalby not gonna play Riku (the "normal" guy) but .... what is left?!
The others are a bunch of crazy people wearing masks or people who doesn't need to wear masks because they are even without masks crazy enough...!?
So who will he play?
the guy who's...
... about 40 years old and has to walk on white lines all the time? (the age doesn't match)
... huge, full of muscles and wears clothes of a nun? (the build doesn't match)
... wearing a star mask and believes he's a star as in music? (so he's gonna sing?)
... believing he is a kappa and wears a green costume and sleeps in the water?
... wearing a bird mask all the time and has a little bee girl with him?
... thinking he's a samurai and has this ... hair cut? (Oh, please, every hair cut is fine but not this one!)
