Whhhat nigga's say drug dealin' doesn't pay?
So yea.. I pitched and sold a ~$10,000 network upgrade to a client, came back and told my boss. He didn't seem to enthused about it so I was online talking to my buddy who sells TV's at Circuit City and bitching to him about how he almost makes the same as me because of the commission off those uber expensive TV's.. Well.. I left my IM window open while I went to get some lunch and I guess my boss hopped on my workstation and read what I told him. I come back and low-and-behold there is an envelope with a note saying "Chris, you definatly deserve more then I pay you, so here is 10% commission on the network upgrade you sold. We will talk about a way to reimburse you for what I should have given you in the past." So.. yea.. $1,000 out of the blue for me... I'm quite happy...
Only downside of today was I feel like shit. I hope I'm not getting strep throat or anything. I NEED to be fine for next week. I can't effing wait. :)
