I had honestly, foolishly convinced myself that I had something of a handle on this situation.

I had a job, and wasn't about to fall into the useless traps of panic, fear, or doubt that Chronos obviously meant to set for us here.

But even I must admit that this is a low point.

I've been fired from my position, after missing two ( Read more... )

That doesn't sound good, of course I'll be available whenever you want.

And please, help me look for Persephone. I don't think she's in danger, she's hiding--if she's right under my nose or out of the country I don't know, but someone or more than someone is helping her. She was foolish enough to start a list, and the residents who disagree made it no secret. Dion will help too, of course

Let's see so far, Adonis, Ares, or Nemesis (be careful with her), are the ones (or one) I suspect are helping her. Theseus might help and of course Poseidon, but if he's hiding her it won't be long until he let's something slip. I still don't think he really cares about her. I will try to squeeze some information out of Pseudologos, she'd be able to tell if Persephone was lying about running away.

Well to be honest, it's... I've been fired from my job, and it doesn't look like I really have any way to get it back. I'm seeking out some new line of work, and open to suggestions.

I'll certainly help you out with Persephone - she's very willful and headstrong, and I think she might stumble into trouble trying so hard to stay away from you. Maybe I can coax her out of hiding.

I'll also see if I can find out who else might be in on this. I wouldn't worry too much about Adonis, but Ares... he had to be involved, didn't he?

From no fault of your own, if mortals knew what you were capable of they'd all be out to get you. Would you like me to help you get your old job back, or are you set on finding something different?

Persephone certainly is gullible.

I wouldn't be so quick to count Adonis out, think of who Persephone likes the most, but I'll have Dionysus tackle that one. Ares certainly would help even if it was only to spite me.

If you think there's a chance. I rather liked that job, actually.

That sounds more up Dion's alley anyways. I'm confident I can handle Nemesis well enough to perhaps get some information out of her, the subtler way.

Did you have anything in mind for them all?

Of course there's a chance.

Good, if you keep an eye on Ares and Nemesis, I'll have Dion check on Adonis.

I will not show the person who helps her any mercy, I'll kill whoever it is the first chance I get. Maybe not Nemesis...

Anything you could do would be wonderful, certainly. It looks like Horcus is willing to put in a word for me too. You know, I'm not ready to give up on this yet, after all.

Deal. Did you hear her latest post? I have a suspicion as to where she might have been.

That's my girl.

I'm getting worried. She can't just be by herself when she doesn't know what's going on.
