Stranded!
It's the "stranded on a desert island" question! You can only take one thing from each category. What is it and why are you taking it?
1.A food that can be planted and regrown.
Man this is a tough question, since chocolate doesn't grow on a plant. I'd probably take potatoes since they are quite versatile.
2. A person you haven't seen in a long time.
I guess if it wasn't a member of my family then I'd bring my friend Ger from Ireland. She's a great laugh and will always provide a bit of light fun on the island.
3. A book you (were) read as a child.
Mrs Pepperpot. I loved that book and actually still have it. It's about a little old woman who shrinks to the size of a pepperpot and has all these little adventures.
4. A celebrity.
It would have to be Michael Shanks who plays Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG1, he is HOOOOOOTTTTT!!!
5. The entire episode run of a television show (it's a very nice desert island).
Oh this is a toughy, do I bring Farscape, battlestar or Stargate???? I'd have to just do a random pick of one of those although I think maybe Farscape might be the choice since I haven't watched it in a while.
Ok so now that's over with on to other things. tabooism is coming over for a visit next week and I can't wait. I haven't seen her in ages so there will be lots of squeeing and silliness.
I'm off for the entire weekend!!!! This happens very rarely now since my bosss keeps putting us in to work Saturdays. I'm seriously starting to think about finding a new job, it's not that I hate my job but it's not exactly ideal the way it works. Because there are only 3 of us there it means that if someone is sick the other 2 have to work their asses off. My boss was off for about 2 months after an operation and me and Nicola were absolutely knackered. Now Nicola is going on maternity leave so it's just gonna be me and my boss. It also means that I can't take holidays when I want and when my boss wants to take a day off I have to take it too because I can't work there on my own. I also have to get up at 6am to be able to be in work at 9am, it's crazy. If I got a job here in Hamilton then I wouldn't have to get up so early everyday.
So that's my whingeing over for now maybe some more later.
