A fresh start...
Ye gads, it feels good (tiring but good) to be back in work...
Last week, I finally decided that okay, I'm gonna break the deal I made with a certain accounting agency for exclusive rights to finding me work... Since, you know... two weeks of work in four frickin' months is just bloody rediculous.
I contacted a new agency who specialise in accounting temp positions, and not only did they find me work within a week... They even managed to bump my pay just slightly from my last job... WITHIN A WEEK!
When the other group had fuck all four a third of a bloody year!
In ten days my bank account will recieve a small, but at this stage, vital infusion and begin it's path to recovery.
If I budget carefully, I'll not bottom out my account, in spite of college trying once again, to bugger up my ability to have any kind of a planned life whatso ever...
Me: When's the next exam?
Tutor: Oh, probably sometime between February and April... inclusive...
Me: ... Can you be a little more specific? I'm trying to book time away.
Tutor: No...

Oh well... I'll figure something out, but I suspect I'll just wind up booking a ticket at the last minute and eating last minute penalty type prices... At least I will hopefully have funds to do so.
So yeah, working in the accounts department at Argos :3 For those not living in the UK, huge UK retail chain... The contract is for 10 weeks minimum, with a good potential to roll on afterwards... The boss commented to my agent that the job I was originally sketched in for would have been one I found much more boring... I think that suggests they think I'm good :)
*breathes a sigh of releif* I'm earning again :D Ker-woot.
