Lets see :) first and second volumes of ghost in the shell : stand alone complex 2 from big sis and Ed. Big sis winning the award for bravery above and beyond the call of duty in braving the geeks in the anime section of forbidden planet in London.
Weighted companion cube plushie from Nate! Made in China from win and God! and it's huggable too!
A nice, posh breif case / laptop case from Babcia (gran - Polish side) and a nice bit of spending money from Gran on the English side.
A very nice little earthenware mug from my godmother.
A nice sheepskin fleece for my chair... and a new chair to go with it from Mum and Dad(although the chair was self financed) and a jar of rhubarb and ginger jam too :3
The most awesome one will take a bit of explaining, however...
Li'l sis spent all day hidden away in the studio today... I was utterly banned from going anywhere near it. Dad was dropping hints (bad Dad!) but I didn't figure out what she was up to...
Years ago, when I went to uni, I got a big, yellow teapot to take with me... It was a factory second due to a small imperfection in the glaze on the bottom. When we found it in the shop it had, written in permanant black marker "Sub" on the side... Since then, it has been the yellow submarine. I always joked that it needed port holes on the side with the beatles looking out.
Lil sis spent hours today painting it up in the style of the beatles Yellow Submarine... No portholes, but I think her design is better... It's at least six different flavours of awesome :3
