Hehe :) Yep, that Meme is doing the rounds again :3 Thankies to
xavier-rotts for this incarnation and a challenge to go to France :o
Something astounding has occured... I think... Finally, I have gotten the 'x' series of games out of my system.
Good greif, they take a long time to play though... Leave the game running for 23 hours whilst you build a ship kind of long time... and that's just a middle sized ship!
Sure, you can run the game on time compress, up to a factor of ten, but generally I found that to be a bad idea for any length of time, as usually, you'd wind up losing something important whilst you were off at work, taking a walk or sleeping or something.
Still, it's the kind of game you can leave running and read a book whilst just keeping half an eye on it, which is something I like in long running games :3
Anyhow, I am uninstalling as I type. :o
... Okay, I'm rebooting windows as I type and then I'll uninstall.
The art now will be to not find another computer game to fill the void of keeping an eye on that one.
Then, on to ironing, and I think, perhaps having another stab at writing... I don't think I can muster the brain power for
nanowrimo but I've always enjoyed getting what little I do get scribbled down down... Perhaps this time I'll be able to finish it?
Probably not, but who cares? xD *chuckles* 'sides which, I don't think I'd be able to start from scratch, and I'm not gonna wait for November.
Anyhow, enough prevaricating form the ironing... The sooner I get started on squasing creases into my shirts, the sooner I can give up on trying to get 'em flat.
Oh, the joys of a job with a dress code, eh?
Edit: Ahh crap... Me and my typoing on HTML... My bad everyone, hopefully fixed now.
Edit 2: Winterbluz pointed out something very very... uh... I forgot what word I was gonna use there... but it was very *nods*
I forgot to post pictures of our graceland trip!
Main reasons being that A) I forgot B) my camerawork was utterly awful... nearly a hundred photos and less than 20 came out and C) her photos were much much better.
So yeah :) cut so as to not annoy anyone who doesn't wanna read.
Ahh, America... Land of subtle advertising...
Land were man is free to put up a sign offering buffalo style flaming BJs... =O-o=;;
Land of Hi-tech transportation...
Land where one can build a wall right next to a gas pump and people will get half a tank for their half car...
but most importantly... Land of guns...
Yep, that's the gun I may have told many of you about... Huge handgun with a sniper scope welded to the top xD
I just so wanted the tag to read "only fired once".
I mean... honestly, who welds a sniper scope onto a Magnum?
... Okay... So the answer to that question is Elvis Prestley.
But at least he seems to have the same opinion on television as I do.
Still :) the hotel was fantastic at least...
Bedroom...
Dining room...
Bathroom...
The only lounge in the world which caters to guests with three eyes...
okay, so seriously, those last few were part of the graceland exhibition, but the hotel was nice too :)
They said this was Elvis' lame suit...
I think it was rather spiffy actually...
But in all seriousness... Graceland was fantastic... A fitting tribute to someone who will sorely be missed. I'll end the photos of Graceland where the tour ended... It seems fitting.
Challenge complete! *hugs* thanks for reminding me!
