Now... let me see... Five hours cache allowance all to my self per week... It's 1:30pm on a friday and this week's allowance has just been enabled.
Does anyone else see the -slight- flaw in this?
Anyhow, back on the web at work :) So you guys might have more drivel from me to read.
The working week started off kinda pants, to be honest... It's pretty obvious that I aught to just take some holiday. Maybe I will, actually. Just not sure when. It's pretty bad though when Monday seems to stretch right through to Thursday and you find yourself clock watching from 9:30 am.
But yeah :) the week has slowly been improving, mostly through kicking the feeling of utter exhaustion that's followed me around the whole time. And just in time for Friday too :)
In other news, I realised I still have (And am paying for) my FFXI account. Rather than just bite the bullet and delete, I thought I'd give it another go, see if anyone I knew is still around.
Lo and behold, I'm actually having a little fun too. It may just be a last hurrah, but who cares?
Managed to find a nice way of getting rid of the beastman seals I've had since I started the game. I collected nearly 300 of the buggers and everyone seemed so shocked at my intention to throw them away, but didn't want to come help me use them. *shrugs* Well, now that I've figured out how to make 'em pay off on my own... Without help... NOW I get offers of assistance.
I have... well.. had... Nearly 300 of them, use 'em 20 at a time and I get a one in four (approximate) chance of a -really- expensive item (Astral ring anyone?) if I'm lucky I can get two for myself... and maybe one or two to sell. Five attempts down, one failure as I thought I could go with slightly cheaper food... and can't. One astral ring, one thunder spirit pact (worth a fair price) and assorted junk.
But yeah :) the most fun in that I can actually do something in that game -solo-... Without having to depend on folks who don't show up and make other plans.
