After the tremendously awful day I had yesterday, I was determined to make today better and not spend it sulking indoors.  I had made plans with myself to visit the Goodwill and finally donate the old clothes I've been keeping in a bag in my bedroom for the last three weeks.  After all, no sense keeping things that no longer fit when someone else could really use them.

Then, I was going to finally visit Freeman Lake and just relax, maybe do some reading.  When I was finished there, I was going to travel just a bit more into Elizabethtown to Bridal Warehouse to check out their gowns.

Absolutely none of that has happened so far.  And this time, I can blame it on something beside my laziness.  I'm going to put all blame on Buddy, the temporary name I've given this Boston Terrier that slid underneath -- yes, slid underneath! -- my fence around lunchtime.

He is so well behaved, cute and timid.  No collar, no tags, no source of identity for this little guy.  Not to mention it was blazing hot out and by the time he made it into my yard, he was so exhausted he was throwing up (and so politely vomited on Bill's lap).

He's taken a few pieces of kibble, and some water, but not much.  I'm keeping him in the kitchen and Demon, Sampson and Sandra outside.  Border Collies and a Rottweiler do not mix with a French Bulldog!

I've made up found dog fliers, and Bill and I are going to post them throughout the neighborhood this afternoon.  I feel so bad for the poor dear.  I would be heartbroken if I found one of my dogs missing, but I'll try and keep this little guy as happy as possible until we can find his owner.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it happens before we leave to Pennsylvania, since I would feel so bad giving the poor dear to an animal shelter.
