Calm Before the Storm

Back in the Duplex of Doom. Reorganized the shit in my room so I know where it is. Somewhere the remote control for the TV (the one in my room, not the one for the cable box) was lost. I don't know where it is, but I need it if I plan to watch television again.

It's unusual for me to actually dread the coming semester. Between Cornerstone, Finance, my Video Game class and 20 hours of work a week, I don't think I'm going to have time for anything else. I'll let my schedule work itself out for when I can start back at the gym and all the other things I want to do. I pray that I'm not getting in over my head.

For those of you who are curious as to how Kat and I are doing, we're better than fine. I went up to Palatka on Friday to visit and meet her friends/roommates. I only had four hours to spend with her, but it was nice. I'm going up again this Friday to see "A Night of Song and Dance" which she is not in, but she is the assistant director/choreographer for. I will stay the night on their couch and bring her back to Orlando in the morning for the three day weekend. Disneyquest will happen at some point, because she has a free ticket and I haven't been in a while.

It's kind of weird how everyone approves and so quickly. My entire family loves her to death, and all of my friends think we're perfect. Her family is the same, although I had a conversation with her father about knives that made me a little nervous. He is a collector and "knows how to fight with them really well." Don't think he's just trying to scare me, because he's entirely serious about this.

Life couldn't be better, and I just hope it doesn't go downhill from here.
