1 to go.
Today I made a memory board, I've always wanted to but for some reason or another I never did. It's basically made entirely of stuff I had around the house, minus one thing. I used a pillow case to cover it, cardboard for the back, bubble wrap tibo cushion it (totally had to improvise here, because as much as I searched through this whole town to find something else, I came up with nothing, and I didn't have any pillows I felt I could rip up to take the stuffing from) and I found some ribbon used for Christmas presents, some hot glue, and tadaa, my memory board. It's far from perfect, but I don't think it looks too terribly bad. If I can find the right materials I'll probably make another one.
My next project is to make a picture frame. I'm lacking most of the things I need for it, possibly because I don't know how I'm going to make it. I have glass for it and a back from a cheap picture frame, other then that, I've got nada. Not even the picture to put it in. I was going to make it for Clayton for Valentine's Day, have a picture of us in it, but sadly the only picture I have of us is from Grad, and that's just not cool. So needless to say he won't be getting it for a while. But he's aware he'll be getting it a little late.
But that's about all I've done today, it took about two hours to make, and I wandered around town for hours yesterday desperately looking for stuff. I need a Walmart handy.
Suggestions for the picture frame?
I also had a really random idea to make a frame out of crayons some how. Totally little kiddish but I think it would look kinda neat if it was done properly. And I have way too many crayons laying around, so maybe when I'm bored one day I'll try that and see how it works.
