I am Farooq Shaukat no more...

Today I went to the BMV (sometimes mistaken for the DMV, but never DMB) to finally take care of the mistake on my license that was made years ago, back when I got my permit. The mistake on my license is that the BMV had mistakenly put my middle name as my last name, which has caused me a small bit of grief through out the years but never enough for me to go and fix it up. I chose to get it taken care of today because I need to get a Michigan State license and I want everything to go smooth. I need the Michigan license so that I can sign up for a ABATE Beginner Motorcycle Course in Michigan. As I've mentioned in previous posts that all the Indiana ones are pretty much filled up till around August, and I'm not willing to wait that long to get my license or motorcycle. So while I was at the BMV, I also took the motorcycle written test for me to get my permit... and I failed it like a football jock taking a calc. exam. The thing was I missed one too many questions and I missed both of the drinking questions, 'If you consume 4 typical drinks, after 2 hours what is the equivalent amount of alcohol in your body?" and "What does Alcohol impair first?". The answers were '2 drinks' and 'judgment', I put down '4 drinks' and 'balance'. Those questions weren't fair, I'm Muslim and am not suppose to know the answers to these questions. I should have pulled out the Muslim card, when you get a chance to pull out a card your suppose to pull it out and trump em'! Well I hope this isn't a sign how the rest of my motorcycle endeavor will go, but the lady told me and emphasized the fact that I could come back tomorrow and take the exam after she told me the correct answers to the ones I missed. :D While I was waiting for my license stuff to be taken care of, which took a long time, I started talking with this other guy who took the motorcycle test and was waiting for it to be scored. He told me how he's had a motorcycle for years and goes riding as a gang around different places, just to enjoy the adventure of riding. He had to finally get a license cause a cop pulled him, and his 'gang', over and out of all of them the cop as him if he had a license. It was cool, he gave me tips on riding and what to look for in a bike. I could have swore this guy was part of 'Cash Money', cause he had gold everything... chains, rings, and even teeth. If I had a bag of quarters I may have been persuaded to knocked out his teeth and run. Anyways...
Richard, we still need to make our bet... that BMW R 1150 R Rockster will be mine soon and you'll have lost the bet. I understand if you don't want to make it now, since you know your gonna lose.

Soon I'll have a Motorcycle license and possibly a pilot’s license by the end of this summer, who needs college!
