There's a better buy than Best Buy...

Ok so today I went to go return Unreal Championship for the XBox, which I mistakenly called Unreal Tournament in my previous posts... but it's pretty much the same thing as Unreal Tournament 2003 for the PC, so no fault here. Anyways... because I bought the game at Best Buy and they have a policy where you can't return opened games, you can only exchange them for the same title... which does me no good, I went over to EB, where their policy is that I can return opened games for a different title as long as I have the receipt, and I bought Unreal Championship from them thinking that I'll just return the shrink wrapped copy to Best Buy and then exchange the opened copy for some other game. I really didn't bother asking how much the game was or even checking the price, I just went up to the counter and told them what I wanted and they gave it to me as if I was their king, which I am. As I was walking out to my car, ready to go to Best Buy to execute Part II of my plan, I decided to make sure everything was kosher and look at the EB receipt for the return policy. When I saw the receipt I noticed that the game only cost me $25 compared to Best Buy's $40. At first I thought I got three cherries and that they messed up ringing me up at EB, but everything checked out fine on the receipt and I got the game cheaper than Best Buy legit... no mistakes. Well Unreal Championship for $40 wasn't worth it, but for $25 I had to keep it. So I went over to Best Buy and returned the EB Shrink-wrapped copy and was on my way. I guess I could have done it all fair and all by just having Best Buy price match EB, but I wanted EB to have my money cause they deserved it and we go along way back. I always assumed Best Buy would always have the better prices, especially when compared to EB they always have. Today I was proven wrong and I wish to apologize to EB for thinking so lowly of them, like they wanted to rip off their customers... but they have always been there for me with there sweet return policy and now having a better deal than Best Buy. For shame on me.... for shame.

While I was at EB I also bought this Blizzard Cinematics DVD Collection that has cinematics from Warcraft III, Starcraft, and Diablo II enhanced for DVD and also with director commentary and design process notes (including concept art). I thought this would be a pretty sweet buy, especially the Warcraft III cinematics that equal to if not better, in quality as Final Fantasy cinematics.
